Warnervale Wildcats vs Ourimbah & Gosford

Welcome to the 2010 under 7’s Rugby Wrap Up.
This week the Wildcats “Little Legends” ran out for their first games of rugby. We played Ourimbah and Gosford at Ourimbah Oval. The first game was against Gosford. We started very slowly, and Gosford quickly scored 3 tries. Our team bounced back, finding their speed and open space, to allow Lachlan to score the next three tries.
The next game was against Ourimbah. Warnervale scored 4 tries (Will, Conner H (2), Lachlan) as they started to enjoy what they were doing. It was great to see each of the kids gain confidence as they adjusted to the Walla “2 hand touch” and got stuck in, especially Angelina who clearly enjoyed defending.
The Wildcat Little Legends this week were Will, Angelina, Bailey, Connor, Logan, Zach, Jonah, Connor H, and Lachlan.
